Ok, with my Centro, I am now doing more and more than I had with any of my other Palm devices, and I just came across another great piece of software to add to the list.
ProfileMD is basically a database that lets you store all sorts of medical info on not just yourself, but other members of your family. You create a profile for each person and then you can add just about any sort of medical related info you would need. A quick run down of the main menu options: Personal info, insurance info, family history, appointments, problem log, weight, blood glucose, peak flow, allergies, medications, illnesses, sugeries, tests & labs, shots and vital signs.

November 13th, 2007 — geek effect
Ok, first it was the C64, then I upgraded to the C128. Eventually I switched to a PC. My first was a 286 with 1meg of ram, and for a GUI I ran Geos. I upgraded to 2meg of ram when I switch to Geos2.0 - I never used Windows3.1, I stuck with Geos on that 286 until I upgraded to a Gateway486 and Window95.
I’ve been through a few other computers since then, and been using XP for quite awhile… and it’s not that I don’t like it (especially compared to what I’ve seen/heard about Vista). Of course you can’t be online the last few years without reading about Linux. Having a computer background it isn’t that I didn’t think I couldn’t handle Linux, just… didn’t need to.
I still don’t need to, but now I am wondering if I need Windows? Well, I do. I currently have a P4, 2.1ghz box, but I only have 512k ram… and for what I do in Windows… it’s pushing the envelope. At least when I’m doing all the stuff I do. There are some things I do, programs I run, that I can’t get for Linux yet, but do I need it for my day-to-day stuff that I do? The web design, basic document work, listening to music, watching TV, etc. I’m thinking not.
