This place is so empty, it echos, echos, echos

Yea, I know. I haven’t written much here lately. I do have some ideas… what I don’t have is time.

Well, I do… but in my infinite wisdom I have started yet another site. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here yet or not… but just in case I haven’t, I figured I’d tell you about it and show a bit of what’s I’ve posted there recently.

FormerFatDudes.com is the site.. and unless you’ve been ignoring me… or this is your first time here… you know I had Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) – three months ago today actually. Guys are still in the minority (4 or 5 to 1) when it comes to WLS, and while the number of sites out there geared towards WLS is growing all the time, they’re mostly done by women invariably revolve around “womens issues”. Well there are certain things that only another dude can relate to. So yea, there’s lots of stuff there for both dude and dudette WLS patients, there is gonna be stuff that is just for the dudes.

There’s also stuff there that anyone can get something out of… and here’s where I get lazy and just let you know about those posts over there rather than actually writing something original for here. I’ve got some help over there too, so you don’t have to just listen to me drone on and on all the time.

3 Months Out and Feeling Damn Lucky – some thoughts on being 3 months post-op, what I’ve gone through, and what someone else I know is going through.

Can I call it a Latke if I’m not Jewish? – a recipe for zucchini “pancakes”, otherwise known as latkes.

Picture Perfect – my own progress pics (don’t say I didn’t warn ya), and some tips on taking your own.

Grilled Pears with Chocolate-Balsamic Sauce – another recipe. Good stuff. Very good stuff.

Five Post WLS Pantry Staples – five products I keep on hand in my kitchen at all times now.

8 Simple Fitness Rules – the title is kinda self-explanitory.

Caution – Sharp Curves Ahead – the problems with shaving, post WLS.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesean – a recipe for… well.. broiled tilapia.

The Labor of Your Fruits – freezing fresh fruits to enjoy long after summer has gone.

Kays Naturals Protein Chips – a review of a high-protein, WLS friendly product line.

There ya go.. and just think, I can’t do this again until I get at least 10 more new posts over there!

I’ve subscribed to both. I wasn’t sure if you’d given this up or not.
