Yesterday was my five week (and a half) post-op check up. I’m officially down 40 pounds. Nurse had heard of the Bariatric Advantage site for supplements, recommended a few things.

Been biking a little… very little. 3.4 miles or so the last two nights. It’s hot out… but with the weight loss I had almost forgotten what it was like to sweat.

Been going topless the last few days. Not me, the jeep. It’s been beautiful out. Yesterday was a lil chilly in the morning, but by mid day… sweet.

I don’t think I could do a chin-up to save my life. I’m trying to start doing some push-ups though. My arms have always been… small, especially compared to the rest of me. They’re even smaller now. Nurse said guys start putting muscle back on pretty good after about 5-6 months. I’ll lose what I have left for hair, but maybe get some muscle back. I could probably live with that.

I’ve been anti-social when it comes to social media lately. I think I finally poted more ‘dents last night than I had in the last month.

I have 36 shows in my hulu.com queue. Most of that though is the second season of Sliders. (I haven’t finished watching season one yet though.)

I think I’ve been eating too much. yea… I know. But I should only be able to handle bout 1/4 cup right now. Need to start working on “this is how much I should have”, not so much “this is how much I think I can have”.

One of the guys I work with really sucks. Keeps trying to spread lies… make excuses. Fortunately I only have to deal with him another few weeks. He’s very two-faced. Tries to act buddy-buddy while telling other people made up shit about me.

I have support group tomorrow night. I’m not sure if it helps or not.

It’s Tuesday… I missed the season finale of 24 last night cause I decided to wash my garage door. What’s up with that? Well, that’s what Hulu is for.

A cup of Culver’s chili will do me for at least three meals. Cottage cheese is an ok substitute for sour cream on the chili.

I still miss Coca-Cola. And Monster.

My window screens need washing. Maybe I’ll do that tonight yet.

Staying hydrated can be a challenge when there are 3-4 waking hours you can’t drink. (during and after meals.)

While biking, I think I inhaled nearly a cotton balls worth of that cotton wood tree stuff that’s started spouting today.

They don’t really use yesterdays left-over burgers for the chili at Culver’s/Wendy’s, do they?

If they do, don’t tell me. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

If I’m supposed to chew everything to the consistency of applesauce, what do I do when I eat apple sauce? Just use a straw?

I want to go camping.

My cousin invited me to their house for a BBQ Saturday. Says she has a friend she wants me to meet. Should I be scared?

Been at my current job a year now. Kinda hard to believe. I still keep in contact with a couple former co-workers. SS and JA, they’re cool peoples.

Ok… gonna wash the two BR screens, then a shower (the bike and sweat thing), then time for 24.

always double… no.. triple check the setting on your clippers before buzz cutting your hair.
