I lost my girl a month ago and I know how incredibly rough it is. I do believe that your getting to say goodbye to her did mean a lot. When I had to put my girl to sleep, I was with her through it and, though it was agony for me, I think it is right to make sure they know how much we love them at the end. I am so sorry to hear this.
