“Thank You.”

There is so much that could be said in support of our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan - I’m not sure I could do justice to what they have put on the line for us here at home. So for now, I just am going to say “thank you”.

This video was done by a high-school girl that plans on enlisting after she graduates. She’s done a number of similar videos, but this seems to be the most popular by far, with over 23-million views and counting.

I think I have settled on a new theme, but I will get in to that more later. First, I also did up my first widget. Ok, first we need to back up a step or three…

I have spent a lot of time over the last year looking for a good solution for putting my personal photos online. I will write more later, but suffice to say I have settled on JuxtaPhoto (JP) by Jeff Harrell. I have about 300 images in my gallery so far, and have lots more to go through yet.

I wanted something similar to the Flickr pools and such you see on other sites, but since JP is rather unknown, nothing exists for it… so I wrote one.

I am spending some time this weekend looking for a new theme… with the goal of eventually building my own.

Problem is, I just do not have the time right now to dive in to figuring out how to do a WP Theme, so I need to find one that is … close… and then tweek it for now.

So, things may look a bit out of whack here and there this weekend as I test out different themes.
