Long live the pickle.
Ok, this started a few days back. Eve, one of those people online that I have known for years but never met, posted a fairly abstract conversation on her blog that ended with me posting a comment with a shameless plug to my pickle recipe.
Then what do my wondering (wandering?) eyes come across today, but the one, the only, yodeling pickle.

I really don’t know what more I can add to this.

Over at CrunchGear, they posted about a tape dispenser in the shape of a cassette tape (though a bit bigger than the original) and invited comments on it.
The first comment out of the gate said “Next up: Paperweight made out of paper”
Well, it’s already been done.
This is off my boss’ desk – a paperweight made to look like a crumpled up blueprint (he is an architect by training). So sorry trigatch 4, you’re too late.

March 13th, 2008 — at play
The 2004 Memorial Weekend Camp-Out was at Wm O’Brien State Park. There is an old steam-engine train that runs through the park Marine on St. Croix and Osceola, WI. We were able to catch a ride from the park. It was a bit of a dreary day, over-cast and drizzly, but the ride was enjoyable. Here’s a shot taken just on the Wisconsin side of the border.

Below is a copy of the same photo that I played with a bit in GIMP.
